Thompson's Galleries

Welcome to Thompson's Galleries

Thompson's Galleries   Established in 1982 in Aldeburgh, Suffolk by John and Sue Thompson, Thompson's Gallery began to build the enviable reputation that it has today. In September 2001, Thompson's opened an additional gallery venue in Marylebone High Street, relocating from Dover Street, Mayfair and Copthall Avenue in the City of London. We pride ourselves on sourcing original work by the artists we represent, and hold major annual exhibitions in Aldeburgh and London.

Thompson's Gallery exhibit an extensive programme of exhibitions throughout the year. Notable exhibitions for 2009 include: Wilf Roberts, 14th - 25th October. Simon Garden 27th - 7th November. And leading Scottish painter James Fullarton 9th - 29th November. We are also hosting the first ever Howard de Walden art prize, where selected artists have been chosen to compete for a first prize of £5,000.
